Here’s a photo that represents my career in the Art world so far, it’s a commission I’ve sold in the last couple of months. I am now a self employed artist that is also going into her 3rd year of her Fine Art degree. I have painted portraits for premier league players and managed to leave my job in retail to support myself with my work. My love of Art all started at Holy Rosary Primary School. Art and Design GCSE and A Level at Maricourt led me here. The best thing I ever did was choose Art and Design at GCSE, it helped me find my calling and develop my skills to where they are today, with all the brilliant help of all the Art staff of course. The best advice I could give to someone who loves creativity would be to take GCSE and A Level art at Maricourt. The Teachers are the most helpful and hands on teachers I’ve ever come across. You’ll never find yourself feeling alone or concerned about what to do next, they’re always there to help you. I think that’s what I find myself missing the most, the art department. If I could go back in time and change something I’d probably spend more of my free time in the art rooms trying to produce as much work as possible. Apart from that, I wouldn’t change a thing.

This is the first LFC painting I posted onto twitter that got my work some attention.
