SEND
At Maricourt we welcome all pupils into our Christian Catholic school community. We are a fully inclusive school in all we do, our philosophy and actions are rooted in our school mission statement:

At Maricourt, inclusion is everyone’s responsibility. We recognise that success for every student is dependent on an embedded approach to inclusion, and that this must form the core of all teaching and learning activities.
Leaders prioritise support for vulnerable pupils. They identify pupils' needs at the earliest opportunity. This is often before pupils join the school. Leaders design support plans to reduce barriers to learning. They review support for disadvantaged pupils and pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) regularly. This ensures that support continues to meet pupils' changing needs. Ofsted 2026
