GCSE Results 2024

GCSE Results. Year 11 2024 are celebrating their tremendous achievements with GCSE results being successful across subjects.

Luke, Ethan and Derin collected 4 Grade 9s , 18 grade 8s, 4 grade 7s and 1 grade 6 between them. Luke and Ethan started out in St George’s  Primary school together and will now continue their studies in The Maricourt Sixth Form. The primary friendships didn’t end there, Lois and Georgia who started their studies together at St Monica’s Catholic primary school, will also study in Sixth Form together, they celebrated achieving 3 grade 9s, 10 grade 8s, 3 distinctions, 2 grade 7s and a grade 6 between them.

The groups of friends continued to arrive throughout the morning celebrating grades together and sharing their destinations. 

The students resilience really paid off, attending revision and intervention sessions and really working continuously to achieve their goals. 

We are delighted that lots of our students can start their Maricourt Sixth Form journeys with such strong GCSE foundations. We are also very proud of those whose next step is college or various apprenticeships. Well done Year 11, all the hard work was worthwhile and we are very proud of you!
