Millie Shimmin

My dream began at St Benedicts Primary School, in which my favourite subjects were English and Art. I then went on to Maricourt Catholic High School. I loved it there because the teachers really care about their students and what’s best for them. I then decided to stay on in Sixth Form and study Art, Business and Sociology. I did this because I didn’t want to leave Maricourt. Sixth Form helped me discover what my interests are. I now enjoy life as a student, studying Fashion Marketing and Communication at the University of Chester. My message to young people deciding on a future career is... choose what makes you happy, figure out what you enjoy and find a job role that fits that.
