My journey started in St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School. I would be lying to say my degree choice has been my dream since a young age because I am one of the most indecisive people ever! Thankfully, I took my time deciding and discovered what I would like to do in my final year of Sixthform. However, I had always loved creative subjects such as Art, English and Science. Being in Maricourt has had such an impact on my life, I have met lifelong friends there and came out the other side with my GCSE’s and A Levels in Sociology, Health and Social Care and English Literature. I couldn’t thank my teachers enough for inspiring me to now go onto a teaching degree. I now enjoy life as a student at Edge Hill University studying Primary English Education. My advice to young people deciding their future career would be to not panic and go with whatever your interests are, the right path will always find you eventually!
