Evie Rawlinson

Hi, my name is Evie Rawlinson. I started my education in St John Bosco Primary School, my favourite subjects where definitely PE, I loved participating in all the different sports (especially swimming), and English, as I enjoyed reading and spending hours writing stories. I then moved onto Maricourt Catholic High School, there I made many lifelong friends, created amazing memories and learnt lots of skills to help me grow as a person. I enjoyed my time there so much that at the end of year 11 I decided to stay on and join their sixth form. For my A levels I choose to study Sport Science and Geography as these where my two favourite subjects at GCSE, as well as a choosing a subject I had never studied before, Psychology, which I instantly fell in love with. I found this subject so interesting that it become my dream to pursue a career in this field. I am now at the University of Liverpool studying a Psychology degree. To anyone who is deciding on what to choose as a future career I would suggest picking something that they are passionate about and find interesting as then working towards a job in the sector would be enjoyable and not seen as hours of endless studying. I would also suggest saying yes to every opportunity that they are given, to show a commitment to the career and give good impression to future employers.
