A-Level Results 2024

All of the hard work and sacrifice has paid off for Year 13 students at Maricourt Catholic Sixth Form Centre. There has been an increase in the number of A* and A grades, with 25% of grades being at least A* - B. In vocational subjects there is continued success with over 50% of grades being at Distinction * or Distinction.
The sixth form is proud of the achievements of all our students with over 80% gaining their university place at both local and national universities. Of particular note is Max Robinson who gained three A* grades in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. Students who joined us just for the sixth form having studied their GCSEs at another school also performed well and are off to their chosen universities.
It has been a pleasure to work with them and see their individual journeys and progression as they battled the rigour of sixth form study to gain the grades we have celebrated with them today. We wish them all luck in the future as they embark on their next stage.
