Examination Results Day

14^th August 2025 for GCE & AS, Newman Campus Main Hall

21^st August 2025 for GCSE, Newman Campus Main Hall

School will be open and staff will be present to offer advice from 8am, on 14^th August 2025 and 8.30am on 21^st August 2025, along with Mrs Grant, our Careers Advisor, who can discuss any future plans with your child.

On the 21^st August 2025, GCSE Results, this is also Sixth Form Enrolment Day. If you wish to study in sixth form, you must register for your courses before leaving.

Any results that are not collected on the day will be posted home and therefore I would be grateful if you could notify me of any change of address. Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to email results home.

You can collect results on your child's behalf, but only an email from their email (pupil) or a signed letter from them must be received before we can release any results. Please send any emails to:

Summer 2025 Contingency Days

" The awarding bodies have collectively agreed a contingency day for several years now which is always scheduled at the end of the GCSE, GCE AS and A-level exam timetables. The contingency day is in the event of national or significant local disruption to exams in the United Kingdom, being part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for exams. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, further resilience was needed within the exam timetables. A single contingency day was not felt to be sufficient if a national event or incident had a significant effect on the exam timetable. For example, summer exams could be affected by extremely high temperatures. For the May 2025 exams, the awarding bodies have therefore introduced one additional half-day contingency sessions. This is on Wednesday 11^th June 2025 pm. The standard contingency day remains at the end of the timetable being scheduled on Wednesday 25^th June 2025. Candidates should be available until Wednesday 25^th June 2025 should examinations need to be rescheduled."

Summer 2025 Subject Adaptions

The DFE has announced that, in 2025, students are not required to memorise formulae for GCSE mathematics and equations for GCSE physics and combined science. This reflects their responsibility for GCSE subject content, and was a change that was also made for exams that took place in 2022. Below you will find a download of the formula pages pupils will recieve in their summer exams.
