Results day letter 2026

School will be open and staff will be present to offer advice from 8am, on 13^th August 2026 and 8.30am on 20^thAugust 2026, along with Mrs Grant, our Careers Advisor, who can discuss any future plans with your child.

On the 20^th^t August 2026, GCSE Results, this is also Sixth Form Enrolment Day. If you wish to study in sixth form, you must register for your courses before leaving.

Any results that are not collected on the day will be posted home and therefore I would be grateful if you could notify me of any change of address. Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to email results home.

You can collect results on your child's behalf, but only an email from their email (pupil) or a signed letter from them must be received before we can release any results. Please send any emails to:

Exam Information

The designation of ‘contingency sessions’ within the common examination timetable is for use in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations. In the event of national disruption to a day of examinations in Summer 2026, the awarding bodies will liaise with the qualification regulators and government departments to agree the most appropriate option for managing the impact. As a last resort, the affected examinations will be rescheduled.

For Summer 2026, the JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) has designated Wednesday, June 24, 2026 as the contingency day. Students must remain available until this date, regardless of when their last exam takes place, to account for potential widespread disruption to the examination system.

Summer 2026 Subject Adaptions

The DfE and Ofqual confirmed in 2024 that formulae and equation sheets would be provided for GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Physics and GCSE Combined Science exams in 2025, 2026 and 2027. Below you will find a download of the formula pages pupils received in 2025; these will remain unchanged for 2026 but will be updated here when released by the awarding bodies.
