Joining Year 7 in September 2020
Maricourt has a positive reputation in the local community as a school that provides a broad, quality education experience. We pride ourselves on our excellent relationships and respect the rights and unique qualities of each individual. This leads to an environment where:

"The school's ethos of care makes a strong contribution to students' behaviour; one student who spoke to an inspector commented that 'our school is a compassionate school and it feels like a family where everyone cares for each other'." Ofsted 2015

Our partner primary schools are: Holy Rosary Catholic Primary School, Aintree; Our Lady of Walsingham; St George's Catholic Primary School, Maghull; St Gregory's Primary School, Lydiate and St John Bosco Catholic Primary School, Lydiate. We welcome both Catholic and Non-Catholic pupils.

Our planned admission intake number is 253.

Year 6 pupils from these schools account for two thirds of our annual intake. The other third of our intake is made up from as many as 30 other primary schools.

Thursday 27th June 2019 Year 5 pupils in our partner primary schools attend an activity morning at Maricourt with their Year 5 Teacher.
